June 6, 2024, Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov has entered the prestigious QS World University Rankings for the first time for the year 2025. This annual university ranking, created and published by Quacquarelli Symonds, has been one of the most renowned and influential in the world since 2004.
The QS World University Rankings evaluate universities based on several key criteria, including the quality of teaching, the number of international students and faculty, research activity, employability, and employer opinions of graduates. Particular attention is paid to the universities' reputation in the academic community, contributions to global science as determined by the frequency of citations of scientific discoveries, and the quality of teaching, measured by the ratio of faculty to students.
This year, the ranking became the largest in its history, including more than 1,500 universities from 105 higher education systems. The inclusion of Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov in this list is a significant achievement and confirmation of the high educational standards of the university.
