On November 25, 2024, at the academic council of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov, Professor Dr. Peter Tamas from the University of Miskolc (Hungary) was awarded the title of honorary professor of KSTU.
The award ceremony took place as part of a ceremonial meeting of the university’s academic council, which was attended by the management, teaching staff of KSTU, as well as honored guests from Hungary. Professor Peter Tamás, known for his outstanding achievements in the field of engineering and science, was awarded this title for his many years of contribution to the development of scientific and educational relations between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary, as well as for active cooperation with KSTU.
Professor Peter Tamás is a recognized expert in his field, the author of numerous scientific publications and studies. In recent years, he has actively supported academic exchange and cooperation between the University of Miskolc and KSTU, and has also taken part in the development of joint educational programs, including master's courses and double degree programs.
The awarding of the title of honorary professor of KSTU to Professor Peter Tamás was an important event in strengthening scientific and educational ties between the two universities and countries. In his speech, the professor expressed gratitude for the high assessment of his work and noted that he is ready to further develop cooperation with KSTU, contributing to the training of highly qualified specialists and the development of science in both countries.
