On April 3, 2025, a conference on "TRANSFORMATION AND DIGITALIZATION OF LOGISTICS TECHNOLOGIES, SERVICES, AND ROUTES" was held in Bishkek. The event brought together representatives from government and business structures, industrial enterprises, the agro-industrial sector, carriers, international organizations, and industry associations. The conference was organized by the Public Union "Partnership in Transport and Logistics in Central Asia," the Association of Research and Design Organizations (ANIP), TIS-Service (Kazakhstan), GreenLights, FBS (Georgia/Turkey), with the support of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Food Processing Industry, the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Association of Carriers of Kyrgyzstan.
The conference topics included the latest technologies in freight transportation, efficient agro-logistics and food security, as well as the role of Central Asia in achieving sustainable development and prosperity. The event was moderated by Berik Bulekbayev, associate professor and expert consultant at the Institute of Transport and Communications, development director at ANIP, honorary railwayman, and chairman of the Partnership in Transport and Logistics Association in Central Asia.
The main goal of the conference, as highlighted by the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, is to transform Central Asia into a stable and economically prosperous region. In recent years, Kyrgyzstan has been actively striving for the digitalization and automation of the transport and logistics sector, opening doors for international cooperation and the implementation of innovations. The conference became an important step in this direction.
Students and faculty from the International Higher School of Logistics, representing Kyrgyzstan, actively participated in the event. They discussed the prospects for the development of logistics technologies and innovations, as well as proposed new ideas to strengthen transport connectivity and trade in Central Asia. The importance of creating unified digital platforms and information technologies for freight transportation, which would improve economic ties in the region, was also emphasized.
The conference became an important event for all participants, opening new opportunities for the development of logistics and transport technologies in Central Asia.
