Korean company plans to build a trade and logistics center in Talas

On January 15, Kyrgyz Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Dinara Kemelova met with President Yoon Sung Baek and Chairman Jo Jae Wick of the ULP Logistics company. This is reported by the press service of the embassy.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of current trade and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Korea. In particular, the interlocutors exchanged views on investing in the tourism sector, as well as expanding trade relations between the two countries through the creation of a trade and logistics center.

During the meeting, the ambassador proposed to invest in the tourism infrastructure in the regions, the construction of trade and logistics centers, as well as the creation of joint ventures for the processing of agricultural environmentally friendly products.

In turn, the president of ULP noted that the company has extensive experience in the field of logistics and providing tourist services. He noted that in 2020, the construction of an ethnocity in the Issyk-Kul region was completed. The President added that at the moment, the expected response of local authorities CU regarding the construction of a trade and logistics center in the Talas region. He assured that he intends to visit Kyrgyzstan in the near future.
