The European Union will launch a project for €900 thousand to increase the financial literacy of migrants

The European Union will spend about 900 thousand euros to develop digital and financial literacy skills, entrepreneurship among the most vulnerable groups of young migrants from three pilot regions — Issyk-Kul, Naryn and Osh. This was reported by the press service of the EU Delegation to the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to her, the project "E-Quality" is designed for 2.5 years. Representatives of the EU, the Bulgarian Chamber of Education, Science and Culture, the International Agency for Quality Assurance InAQA, as well as the expert community of Kyrgyzstan will meet for its launch.

During the online coordination meeting, participants will discuss and clarify the tasks, work plans and expected results of the project.

Recall that in December last year, another EU program was launched to improve the digital literacy of young people and women in the villages of Osh and Issyk-Kul regions. The European Union allocated 991 thousand euros for its implementation.
