Within the framework of the World Bank project in KSTU named after I. Razzakov, on March 11, a meeting was held with the rector of KSTU named after I. Razzakov, Chynybaev M.K., director of the Training Center of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, Turdumambetova E.D., head of the department "Logistics" Umetaliev A.S. on signing a Memorandum of Cooperation between the "Research Center for Logistics and Public Procurement in the Kyrgyz Republic" at the Department of "Logistics" KSTU named after I. Razzakov and the Training Center of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Memorandum of Cooperation represents the joint interest of the parties in the training of highly qualified specialists in the field of public procurement, joint expert information-analytical and research activities and the practical application of its results in the development of the public procurement system of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The purpose of the Memorandum is the desire of the parties to cooperate in carrying out activities that contribute to building sustainable capacity in the field of public procurement and their professionalization in Kyrgyzstan, including training programs on procurement policies and procedures.
The key link of the Memorandum is cooperation in the promotion, preparation and organization of seminars on the World Bank procurement policies and procedures, as well as admission to testing of 4th year students of the Procurement Logistics profile at the Training Center to obtain a Level I Public Procurement Specialist Certificate.
