The World Rector’s Forum "The Role of Universities in Building a National Innovation Ecosystem"

On September 14 - 15, 2022, the World Rector’s Forum "The Role of Universities in Building a National Innovation Ecosystem" was held in Bishkek. The Forum organizers are the Ministry of Education and Science and the World Intellectual Property Organization. At the Forum, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov spoke with relevant and acceptable proposals for the development of universities. Further, rectors of universities from more than 100 countries of the world discussed methods for improving the efficiency of research and innovation activities of universities, commercialization of intellectual property and technology transfer. Partners of the International School of Logistics (ISL) at the Kyrgyz State Technical University arrived to participate in the Forum:

• Dr. Haseeb Ahmed and Prof. John Grether, the Kettering University, Michigan, USA, detailed kettering.edu;
• Prof. Peter Tamas and Prof. Peter Veres, the University of Miskolc, Hungary, detailed uni-miskolc.hu.

All our partners actively and fruitfully spoke at the plenary and session sessions with their reports and presentations, participated in all discussions and shared their knowledge and experience on the topic of the Forum.
