On July 22, 2020, the Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic S. T. Mukanbetov visited OJSC TNK Dastan. The Deputy Minister of Economy B. A. Aliyev, the Director of the PPP Center D. Abdyldaev, the Chairman of the management board T. O. Imanov and the management team of the JSC TNK Dastan, the Director of JSC Bishkek machine-building plant O. V. Popikov, the Director of the State Enterprise Bishkek stamping plant Turdubekov B. K., the Deputy Director of the accreditation center under the Ministry of Economy M. Taranchieva, the Head of the Department of SCPEN Boronchiev Sh. I., engineers and etc. attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the Minister of Economy, Mukanbetov S. T., raised questions about assembling and manufacturing important medical equipment, in particular ventilators and oxygen concentrators, and product diversification and the cooperation of large enterprises to expand the range of new products.
The Chairman of TNK Dastan, Imanov T. O., informed the meeting that they had signed a contract with one of the subsidiaries of Rosteh to supply portable ventilators (200 units) and stationary ventilators (100 units). In addition, they would restore eight ventilators belonging to the National Hospital, which would soon be transferred back for their operation.
The Director of JSC BMZ, Popikov O. V., said that the company has production lines producing a medical mask with a capacity of 250-300 masks per hour. They have received orders from private entrepreneurs. They are also working on the assembly and distribution of ventilators. Spare parts for ventilators and other devices can be manufactured by the government enterprise Bishkek Stamping Plant to provide healthcare organizations of the Kyrgyz Republic with the centralized oxygen supply systems. The company would be ready to launch the production of necessary components shortly.
The heads of the enterprises explained the main problems they faced when they were developing and launching new types of products.
Summing up the meeting, the Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic offered to consider the subject once again and hold a second meeting a week later.
